Captain Rafael D. Pamintuan took his on the job training for aircraft maintenance at Pilipinas Aviation during the summer break prior to his college senior year. It was then that he decided to enter flight training while finishing his degree in Aircraft Maintenance Technology.

Determined in becoming a pilot and through the scientific programming of his schedule by Pilipinas Aviation training team, he became a commercial pilot and earned his degree at the same time. This is just a year from the time he started flight training.
